Packaging options

Your coffee, packaged your way.

You can supply your own approved coffee bags, use branded labels on stock packaging, or have us arrange fully custom-printed bags. We will help you understand the requirements before anything goes into production.

01

Supply your own bags

Provide your own approved coffee packaging and we will roast and pack directly into it. We will advise the required bag dimensions, materials, valve placement and production specifications before you place your packaging order.

02

Use branded labels

Supply finished labels for us to apply to approved stock coffee bags. This is the lower-commitment option for smaller quantities, short runs, new products and businesses testing the market.

03

Custom-printed bags

We can arrange fully custom-printed packaging and incorporate the packaging cost into your per-kilogram coffee rate. A minimum commitment of 500 bags applies, but they do not need to be filled in a single production run.

How it works

From first conversation to repeat production.

We will help you choose the right coffee, packaging and production arrangement for your business. Once everything is approved, future orders are straightforward.

01

Start with a sample or conversation

Tell us about your brand, intended use, expected volume and timing. Request coffee samples or ask our team to call you to discuss the project.

02

Choose or develop the coffee

Select an established Coffee Bean blend for private label, brief us on a custom blend, or discuss a contract-roasting arrangement.

03

Confirm packaging and pricing

Choose supplied bags, labelled stock packaging or custom-printed bags. We then confirm the coffee, quantity, packaging costs and production requirements.

04

We roast, pack and repeat

Your coffee is roasted and packed at our Dubbo roastery. Future production follows the approved coffee and packaging arrangement.

Ordering at a larger or more regular volume? We apply volume-based pricing rather than treating $38 per kilogram as a fixed rate for every customer.

Larger and ongoing orders receive tailored volume pricing

Private-label coffee FAQs

The practical questions, answered.

Tell us what you are creating, your expected volume and how you would like the coffee packaged. We can then help determine the most suitable pathway.

What is the minimum order for private-label coffee?

Private-label production generally starts from 20kg per coffee, commonly packed as 20 × 1kg bags. Other bag sizes, custom blends and specialised packaging may have different minimum quantities.

What does the $38 per kilogram starting price include?

Entry-volume pricing starts from $38 per kilogram at the 20kg minimum and includes an established Coffee Bean Roasting House blend, roasting and standard 1kg packaging. Final pricing depends on the coffee, volume, frequency and packaging requirements.

Do larger private-label orders receive volume pricing?

Yes. The $38 per kilogram figure is an entry-volume price rather than a fixed rate for every customer. Larger and ongoing orders are quoted using volume-based pricing appropriate to the expected production quantity and frequency.

Can we use one of your existing coffee blends?

Yes. Choosing an established Coffee Bean Roasting House blend is generally the fastest and most price-competitive private-label pathway. We can provide samples and help you choose a coffee suited to your customers and brewing method.

Can you develop a custom coffee blend?

Yes. Custom blend development begins with a brief covering flavour, brewing method, customer, price point and expected volume. Minimums and pricing depend on whether the blend uses coffees already within our range or requires coffee to be sourced specifically for the project.

Do you provide contract coffee roasting?

Yes. Contract roasting may be available for established coffee businesses supplying approved green coffee or requiring a defined roasting arrangement. These projects are quoted according to volume, roast requirements, packaging and production frequency.

Can we supply our own coffee bags?

Yes, subject to approval before production. We will advise the required dimensions, materials, valve placement and sealing specifications so you can source bags compatible with our packing process.

Can we use labels instead of custom-printed bags?

Yes. You can supply finished branded labels for us to apply to approved stock coffee bags. Labels offer a lower-commitment option for smaller quantities, new products and initial production runs.

What is the minimum for custom-printed coffee bags?

Custom-printed packaging requires a minimum commitment of 500 bags. The bags do not all need to be filled in a single production run. Packaging can be used across future agreed orders, with its cost incorporated into the quoted per-kilogram rate.

Can you pack coffee into 250g or 500g bags?

Smaller retail bag sizes can be discussed. They require more packaging units and packing time for the same quantity of coffee, so their minimum order quantities and per-kilogram pricing differ from standard 1kg production.

Can I request coffee samples before proceeding?

Yes. You can request samples of suitable established blends before confirming a private-label coffee. For a custom project, we will first discuss your brief and determine the appropriate development and sampling process.

Where is the coffee roasted and packed?

Private-label coffee is roasted and packed by Coffee Bean Roasting House at our Dubbo, NSW roastery.

Can you supply private-label coffee Australia-wide?

Yes. Freight and supply arrangements depend on your location, order size and production frequency. Include your delivery postcode and expected volume when submitting your enquiry so we can provide an accurate quote.
