Shipping and Delivery

Shipping within Australia 

For shipping within Australia, delivery charges apply to online orders and are added to your basket total and displayed during the checkout process in step 4 – Reviewing your order. This is calculated from your destination state and postcode.
We send parcels within Australia using Australia Post and delivery will be attempted during normal business hours.

Shipping outside Australia
We DO NOT calculate international delivery charges at the time of checkout on our website. We still process your order without the delivery charge and then charge your credit card again upon dispatch of your order, once we have an accurate postage cost from Australia Post.

Dispatch Times
Our standard dispatch time is 1-7 business days from receipt of your order, depending on product availability. Orders are shipped during week day business hours. We often dispatch the same day.

Faulty, damaged and incorrect deliveries
We carefully pack all orders to ensure that your items arrive to you in the best of condition and avoid the risk of damage to goods while in transit.
In the event your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect or there are missing items, you must notify us within 48 hours of your parcel being delivered.
Please read our Returns and Refunds Policy for details on returning items if you are not happy with your order.

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We respect your privacy and comply with Australian National Privacy Principles and all laws relating to the collection, use and dissemination of personal information.

We are committed to protecting the information provided by you from loss, misuse and alteration, We employ encryption technologies, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), whenever necessary to ensure confidentiality whilst receiving and transferring personal information within our website.
A locked padlock or solid key will appear in the lower right of your browser each time we encrypt a web page. Our website address should also be prefixed with ‘https://’ in the browser address bar.

What are your rights?
You are not obliged to give us any of the personal information about you which may be requested in our communications or correspondence with you. However, without that information, we may not be able to process your request for our services.

You can request access at any time to personal information we hold about you. Such a request will be processed within a reasonable time, usually within 21 days. There is no charge for requesting access to your information. The law provides that we are not required to provide you with certain types of information if you request them. This would be very unusual but if for any reason we refuse to provide the information requested, we will tell you why and what you can do if you are unhappy with our decision.

Information sharing
Your information is only used internally by The Coffee Bean Roasting House for the delivery of requested services and is never sold or shared with third parties.

External Websites
We do provide links to other websites, but bear no responsibility for the contents of external websites. We do not control these sites or their privacy policies. Any information that you give to third parties is not covered by our privacy policies, it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies on their site.
Should any third party share information with us about you, that sharing is governed by that third parties’ privacy policy.

Updates to privacy policies
The Coffee Bean Roasting House retains the right to update and make changes to these policies at any time without prior notice. This may be necessary when introducing new services and products and are designed to further protect your privacy requirements. Any updates placed here will take immediate effect, replacing any previous statements.

Returns and Refunds

We pride ourselves on our long standing reputation of selling high quality products with a friendly service. At The Coffee Bean Roasting House, we stand by every product we sell and carefully inspect and pack every item that leaves our warehouse to ensure that we exceed your expectations. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, then please follow the steps below.

Return of Orders
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from The Coffee Bean Roasting House, then you may return the item(s) to us within 30 days from the date of delivery for a replacement or refund, provided the item(s) are returned in original condition including its packaging and an explanation is given with a copy of the original tax invoice / proof of purchase.
Original delivery charges are not refundable and the item(s) are returned to us at the customer’s own cost and risk. We will not process refunds on items returned due to the incorrect choice. All returns are subject to inspection and items returned from a purchase made on The Coffee bean Roasting House website will be credited back to the original credit card number.

How to return your orders
Please provide a copy of your tax invoice, which is sent with your delivery, stating which item(s) you are returning and a brief explanation of any faults/ reasons for its return. Use the shipping carrier most convenient for you and send the package to the following address:-
