Derek Sykes, from The Coffee Bean Roasting House, said they were thrilled to receive the award for the Supreme coffee blend.  “We think it is a great tasting coffee but it is nice to be recognised at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show by judges that really know good coffee,” he said.

The Supreme is just one of many specialist coffee types roasted by the Coffee Bean Roasting House at their premises at 2 Young Street, in Dubbo.  Supreme is a favourite for many coffee connoisseurs and is available as roasted beans, ground beans, for coffee plungers, pods and in capsules compatible with Nespresso coffee machines.

Mr Sykes said the 2014 award is one of many their coffee has received over several years and, in the past, the Supreme blend has achieved the highest honour in being named the Australian Champion Coffee at the Royal Sydney Fine Food Show.  He said the volume of awards demonstrates their commitment to quality and consistency in ensuring their products are always presented at a very high level.

“The Coffee Bean Roasting House roasts only the highest quality beans available,” Mr Sykes said.  “Our specialty coffee beans are sourced from premium quality producers from around the world.”

Coffee beans sourced and roasted by the Coffee Bean Roasting House are classified in the top ten per cent of global production for quality and are selected for flavor, aroma and bean size.  Mr Sykes said the Coffee Bean Roasting House’s unique range of coffee also includes; Rainforest Alliance coffee, Organic coffee and Swiss Water Decaffeinated coffee.  “The beans are hot air roasted in the pristine, clean country air to optimum colour extracting the individual, delicate flavours of the various coffee beans from around the world for the ultimate coffee drinking experience,” he said.

Specialty coffee green beans are roasted daily on site and packed within an hour using the latest technology and equipment to achieve fresh, high quality products.  As well as the award winning Supreme coffee, the Coffee Bean Roasting House also produces a range of other flavours to suit individual tastes.  “The Coffee Bean Roasting House supplies many coffee shops throughout regional NSW and in other areas in Australia as well as directly to home coffee enthusiasts and work places,” Mr Sykes said.
